Pro Barranquila is the new WAIPA Director for South America
Other News, 17/03/2011The Directorship for South America – within WAIPA – was left vacant by ProsperAr, following the dissolution of the Argentinian IPA in September, 2010. Pro-Barranquilla, which had already been a candidate for the seat last June, 2010, in Buenos Aires, was selected by a unanimous vote of board members. With the decision, the Steering Committee echoed the votes of those who supported the Colombian candidacy at the institutional portion of the WAIPA World Investment Conference 2011 – Buenos Aires. Pro-Barranquilla was a close second to ProsperAr in the last General Assembly of WAIPA Members. Let us congratulate the remaining other candidate, INVEC – of Cuenca Ecuador for also expressing its willingness to take up the role of WAIPA South American Director. INVEC joined the WAIPA network on September 13th 2010.
